Seizing a Strong Start & Expanding Markets! Suichang Enterprises Strive for Success in the New Year

On March 6, the Shanghai Sales Center of Zhejiang Shuangcai New Materials Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated at the National 863 Software Park in Minhang District, Shanghai. As the first Suichang enterprise to settle in Shanghai’s "enclave" platform, this is a strategic move by Shuangcai to seize early momentum, go all out to expand markets and secure market share, and promote corporate transformation and upgrading. It also marks a solid step forward for Suichang enterprises in actively connecting with Greater Shanghai, integrating into the Yangtze River Delta, and accelerating the "going global" process.

It is reported that Zhejiang Shuangcai New Materials Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production, R&D and sales of powder coating additives, and one of the earliest and largest manufacturers of powder coating additives in China. In the past two years, the company has continuously achieved new breakthroughs in development by introducing an "automated and intelligent" digital production model and establishing a joint industry-university-research platform with universities. In 2023, the company’s output value reached more than 75 million yuan.

"At present, expanding the market and recruiting talents are urgent needs for us to further improve and strengthen the enterprise. As an important window for the world to observe China and a key hub connecting domestic and foreign resources and markets, Shanghai has a bridgehead effect unmatched by any other city," said Feng Jie, Chairman of the company. The establishment of the Shanghai Sales Center enables the company to "leverage a higher platform" and take advantage of Shanghai’s rich flow of people, logistics and information to quickly grasp domestic and international market trends, enhance product visibility and reputation, and seek more development space and opportunities.

A good start lays the foundation for strong momentum in the follow-up. "In the first quarter of this year, our orders increased by about 30% compared with the same period last year. With the empowerment of the Shanghai Sales Center and the policy support from the government, we are very confident in achieving a 'good start and a prosperous year'. The company’s output value is expected to exceed 100 million yuan in 2024," Feng Jie said.

Behind the enterprises’ efforts to "go global" to expand markets and secure orders is a package of substantial policy support from Suichang. "Last year, we upgraded our industrial policies, with greater incentives and subsidies for both foreign trade and foreign investment. At the same time, for enterprises participating in domestic and foreign exhibitions organized by government departments, we will provide subsidies of up to 70% for booth fees, as well as allowances for accommodation and meals, to encourage more enterprises in our county to go out and expand the market," said Liu Ping, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of Suichang County Bureau of Economy and Information Technology.
